kcgcode turns the AI agent on your laptop into a focused mobile workspace—so you can keep the conversation moving, answer prompts, and stay in control from anywhere.
Not a terminal squeezed onto a tiny screen. A mobile interface designed around the decisions that actually need you.

01 / Why mobile-first
A terminal was built for a desk.Your decisions weren’t.
When you step away, you rarely need every log line and split pane. You need the thread, the current state, and a clear way to respond. kcgcode keeps those parts close without making your thumbs fight a desktop interface.
Shrink the terminal
- 01Pinch and zoom through dense output
- 02Hunt for the one prompt that is waiting
- 03Type desktop commands with two thumbs
Design for the moment
- Read the conversation at a glance
- Answer requests as clear, touch-ready cards
- Keep projects and live status one tap away
Replace this panel with a final in-app screenshot when it is ready.
02 / The working loop
Everything that matters. Nothing fighting the screen.
Start at your desk, continue from your phone, and return without losing context. Each surface does the job it is best at.
Keep the full conversation in reach.
Start sessions per project, watch replies stream live, choose a model or agent mode, and stop a turn when it heads the wrong way.
What is blocking the release?
Two checks remain. I’m tracing the failed typecheck now.
workingThe agent asks. You decide.
Permission requests and multi-question prompts arrive as readable cards, with the exact context you need to approve, deny, or answer.
Your work stays organized.
Sessions remain grouped by project, with live state and fast search when you need to jump between tasks.
Send useful context, not just text.
Mention files with @, attach images, and keep custom instructions close to each project.
Add skills with the audit visible.
Search skills.sh, inspect the security result, and install into the project without losing progress on refresh.
03 / How it works
Your laptop stays the engine. Your phone becomes the remote.
kcgcode creates one protected route to its mobile web app. OpenCode and every per-project process keep running locally on the host.

Install on the host
Run kcgcode beside OpenCode on the laptop that holds your projects.

Lock, then connect
Set a PIN or password, open Remote access, and approve the matching code.
- 03
Continue from anywhere
Open your private address on mobile and optionally add the PWA to home screen.
04 / Built for remote access
Useful from anywhere. Careful by default.
Remote control can reach code and commands on your machine, so the lock, session boundary, and device controls are part of the core product—not an afterthought.
- 01App lock
Locked before it leaves your laptop
Remote access cannot be enabled until you set a PIN or password. Credentials are stored as Argon2id hashes.
- 02Signed sessions
Browser tokens stay out of reach
Sessions use HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookies. The database keeps only a hash of each session token.
- 03Request boundary
Your app accepts requests from itself
Origin checks protect HTTP and WebSocket traffic, while repeated unlock failures are rate limited.
- 04Device control
Access can be stopped immediately
Lock the app, change the lock, or sign out a device and its live connection is closed too.
05 / Quick start
Three commands. Then leave the desk.
Install kcgcode on the machine where OpenCode and your projects already live. The terminal dashboard will show local server, lock, project, and tunnel status.
